Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with OSGeo/GDAL, Mapbox APIs, RedShift, DMS, Redis, Glue, SQS, Scala, Elixir/Erlang, and Python
- Strong analytical and design skills for integrated application systems
- Proficient in unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing
- Ability to provide mentorship to junior team members
- Experience in leading software development life cycle phases
- Familiarity with new technologies and tools for product modification
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Responsibilities
- Conduct high-level analysis and design for well-integrated application systems
- Develop new software solutions and enhance existing ones through coding
- Guide and mentor junior staff to resolve bugs and operational issues
- Ensure system and service integrity through comprehensive testing
- Lead various phases of the software development life cycle including research, design, and implementation
- Utilize advanced tools and technologies for product integration
- Prepare and update program and system documentation
- Support departmental goals and timelines while facilitating knowledge transfer
