Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Over 5 years of custom development experience, specifically in designing and deploying functionalities within Microsoft solutions.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in X/X++ development.
- Proficient in Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations, with a focus on General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Project Accounting, Cash & Bank processes, Budgeting, Consolidation, and User Role-based Workflows.
- Familiarity with previous AX releases is preferable.
- Significant experience in ASP.NET (C#) development within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 SDK, including knowledge of ODATA and REST endpoints.
- Previous exposure to implementing technologies such as MSMQ, VB.NET, C#, ASP, ASP.NET, RESTful APIs, XML, XSL, WCF, and SOAP.
- Experience with PowerBI, PowerApps, LogicApps, and Azure Portal/Services/Functions, including DataVerse/Common Data Service.
- Competency in writing and troubleshooting Dynamics 365 plug-ins and custom workflow activities.
- Background in developing enterprise systems throughout the entire software product lifecycle.
- Familiarity with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), KingswaySoft, SQL Reporting Services (SSRS), and knowledge of SQL and/or PowerShell scripting is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design, database architecture, and software design patterns, including MVC, N-Tier, Test Driven Development, and Dependency Injection.
- Capability to identify problem root causes and provide swift, effective solutions while managing risk proactively.
- Sharp analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
- Deep technical knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 is essential; certifications in this area are a plus.
- Excellent communication and customer support skills.
- Understanding of agile software development methodologies, including Scrum.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Business Process Owners, Application Architects, and Tyler IT teams to enhance and sustain our Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations solution.
- Craft custom solutions and interfaces utilizing the Dynamics 365 Online platform.
- Document and execute test plans to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.
- Participate in code reviews for ongoing projects to maintain the highest levels of code quality and the appropriate application of design patterns.
- Engage with IT and related Business Owners on the future strategic direction of the platform, including capacity planning and upgrades.
- Develop plug-ins for the Dynamics 365 Online platform.
- Work alongside Tyler IT teams to offer advanced support and troubleshooting for Dynamics 365 and associated applications/interfaces, documenting root causes and solutions.
- Generate detailed technical solution documentation aligned with current business objectives and existing applications.
- Develop, test, and document functioning solutions, integrations, and data migration components for the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Online platform.
- Create Forms, Report customizations, and establish data entities within Dynamics 365 F&O.
