Requirements
Must:
- Over 7 years of experience directly collaborating within engineering teams
- 1-3 years of experience serving as an engineering manager
- More than 6 years of experience in software development
- Background as a Senior Engineer focused on designing, implementing, and managing large-scale distributed applications
- Demonstrated ability to attract, recruit, and nurture top engineering talent
- Extensive experience in developing customer-centric products
- Preferred: Experience in recruiting, mentoring, and managing teams of Software Engineers to enhance their skills and effectiveness
- Preferred: Familiarity with the AWS ecosystem
- Preferred: Experience with Twitch, either as a viewer or a creator (or both)
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of engineers in the design, creation, and maintenance of full-stack applications supporting advertisers, creators, and viewers
- Navigate complex technical and product trade-offs to deliver ongoing value to our customers
- Oversee multiple high-impact technical and product initiatives simultaneously
- Collaborate across teams and functions, balancing diverse stakeholder perspectives
- Foster a vibrant, fast-paced, cooperative, and accountable team culture
- Focus on prioritizing business outcomes while ensuring the development of maintainable and scalable technical solutions
