Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the electrical industry, with a strong understanding of switchgear.
- Preferred experience directly collaborating with electrical contractors.
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering is ideal; extensive relevant experience may substitute for a degree.
- Knowledge of project management principles and methodologies.
- Exceptional organizational skills and proficiency in cultivating customer relationships.
- Computer literacy, especially in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for evaluating all commercial construction projects.
- Proficient in interpreting blueprints and utilizing electronic bid management software to generate quotes.
- Highly organized and efficient in managing multiple projects during the bidding phase and post-sale.
- Prioritize tasks based on project complexity and deadlines.
- Collaborate effectively with the branch manager, outside, and inside sales teams to coordinate bids and oversee projects.
- Ensure timely project completion and maintain profitability.
- Manage interactions with all stakeholders involved in the order process, both internal and external.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with vendors and customers.
- Deliver outstanding customer service that differentiates Turtle & Hughes in the marketplace.
- Adhere to set standards and protocols for project reporting, communication, and documentation.
- Maintain comprehensive logs of pricing quotes, change orders, and all related correspondence.
