Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in IT operations management or a similar leadership role within an enterprise environment.
- Strong understanding of computer networking principles, including LAN/WAN configuration and management.
- Practical experience with operating systems such as Windows, macOS, and Linux.
- Proficient in IT service management tools like ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, Jira, and other help desk platforms.
- Familiarity with network security protocols, including firewalls and VPN configuration.
- Excellent troubleshooting capabilities for software applications, hardware components, and network connectivity issues.
- Ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with an aptitude for task prioritization under pressure.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), or Cisco CCNA are preferred but not mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise daily IT operations, ensuring efficient desktop support, network management, and hardware upkeep.
- Lead the diagnosis and resolution of software issues across diverse operating systems such as Windows, macOS, and Linux.
- Maintain and configure security measures for networks, including firewalls, VPNs, and LAN setups to safeguard data.
- Support and enhance enterprise tools like ServiceNow, Jira, BMC Remedy, and other help desk systems for effective incident management.
- Collaborate with technical teams to facilitate system upgrades, patches, and hardware replacements.
- Provide expert technical support for software issues, operating system challenges, and computer hardware problems.
- Monitor network performance and address connectivity issues related to LANs or VPNs.
- Develop documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting strategies.
- Work in conjunction with cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with security standards and manage firewall configurations.
- Effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels to provide updates on ongoing issues or projects.
