Requirements
Must:
- Some experience with iOS (Swift/Objective-C) or Android (Java/Kotlin) development. Familiarity with Flutter is a plus.
- Basic understanding of Bluetooth integration, especially Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) communication.
- Comprehension of mobile app architecture, UI/UX principles, and foundational performance optimization.
- A strong interest in troubleshooting mobile applications and embedded systems.
- Ability to identify and resolve issues with support from senior engineers.
- Good written and verbal communication skills for effective teamwork.
- Exposure to cloud-based services (e.g., AWS, Firebase) for mobile app backends is a bonus.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control systems like Git is advantageous.
- Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira is beneficial.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in mobile application development or a relevant internship is desired.
- A bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist in designing and refining mobile applications for iOS and Android, focusing on Bluetooth integration, user-friendly features, and performance.
- Collaborate closely with senior engineers and firmware teams to ensure mobile app compatibility with embedded firmware in speakers.
- Contribute to optimizing Bluetooth communication for seamless interaction between mobile devices and speakers with minimal latency and high reliability.
- Support troubleshooting and debugging efforts for both mobile applications and embedded firmware, particularly in relation to Bluetooth and audio performance.
- Help establish an automated environment for development, testing, and delivery processes.
- Document technical designs, code, and architecture to maintain clarity and future development ease.
- Engage in all phases of product development using the Agile lifecycle, ensuring quality and adherence to timelines.
