Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of a High School Diploma; Associates or Bachelors degree in IT or a related field preferred
- Over 8 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years in a comparable position
- Strong grasp of manufacturing and warehousing business processes
- Prior experience with systems including WMS, MRP, CRM, EDI, and ERP
- Proficient in SQL; capable of developing SQL queries and generating reports
- Skilled in Microsoft environments and standard industry tools, including the MS-Office Suite
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, and project management abilities, with a strong attention to detail
- Outstanding communication skills; able to convey ideas in a business-appropriate manner
- Self-driven with the capability to effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting
Responsibilities
- Design and implement cost-effective technology solutions that align with business goals and initiatives
- Oversee the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of applications to ensure optimal functionality within a 24/7 production environment
- Collaborate with various teams to identify and advocate for technology solutions that fulfill business requirements, taking into account risks, costs, and ROI
- Lead projects aimed at implementing new systems, policies, and processes to improve business profitability and efficiency
- Safeguard the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of company data through robust IT practices
- Provide ongoing support, including 24/7 on-call assistance for critical incidents
- Effectively communicate IT capabilities to foster continuous improvement efforts and deliver essential training to team members
- Act as a point of contact with external vendors for support and undertake additional tasks as necessary
