Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 3 years of software development experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft development tools, including SQL Server Management Studio and Visual Studio (experience with Git-based Azure DevOps Server or similar tools is advantageous)
- Strong command of T-SQL, Regular Expressions, C#, and VB.net
- Familiarity with Windows Server/Client relationship
- Experience with Jira is a plus
- Ability to estimate development efforts and monitor progress using an online ticketing system
- Capability to learn and comprehend business processes for creating varied workflows
- Understanding and design of relational data models
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Self-motivated with the capacity to adapt to changing circumstances
- Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Content Management Team to create automated workflows for document and data processing, utilizing OCR profiles and custom scripts
- Optimize performance and workflows for both new and existing content related to image processing
- Manage and maintain enterprise-level third-party software in both front-end and back-end environments
- Develop code that meets business requirements effectively
- Prioritize tasks in coordination with management and project coordinators
- Conduct technical evaluations of processes by other developers to identify inefficiencies and issues
- Support management in designing and redesigning processes by applying best practices
- Execute testing of custom workflows and processes
- Engage with various departments during user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Sustain production workflows throughout their operational lifespan
- Troubleshoot software challenges and conduct research for resolutions
- Assist in-house support teams and perform additional tasks as assigned

We are seeking a motivated Software Developer to join our dynamic team within the Transportation Cabinet. This position focuses on enhancing content optimization through innovative document and data capture solutions using Grooper. You will collaborate closely with our Content Management Team, engaging on projects that provide both efficiency and effectiveness across various departmental workflows. We offer a competitive hourly rate of $40.00 - $45.00, along with comprehensive benefits such as 401(k) matching, health insurance, dental and vision coverage, and paid time off. This role is based in Oklahoma City, requiring in-person presence.
