Requirements
Must:
- Expert in CSS, including preprocessors like Less or Sass
- Proven experience in building and managing a design system or component library
- Strong communication skills between design and development teams
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced development environment
- Proactive in learning new front-end tools and techniques
- Proficient with Vue.js or similar frameworks
- Knowledgeable in Bootstrap and Tailwind
- Understanding of browser rendering, CSS performance, and responsive design
- Familiarity with Git for version control and collaborative pull requests
Responsibilities
- Maintain, refactor, and enhance our design-system codebase for consistency and performance using CSS and JavaScript
- Create new UI components that are styled, documented, and tested for use across Rock RMS
- Work closely with designers to convert mockups and style guides into production-ready code
- Collaborate with backend and full-stack developers to integrate components into the application
- Produce clear documentation and usage examples for every component
- Engage in code reviews, ensuring adherence to CSS/HTML/JS best practices and accessibility standards
