Requirements

Must:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in an IT Business Analyst role - At least two long-term engagements (one year or more) as a Business Analyst - Proven experience in leading requirements gathering for complex, enterprise-level IT initiatives - Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders across various business units in a fast-paced environment - Strong background in business process analysis and improvement

Responsibilities

- Lead pre-discovery sessions with stakeholders to review business processes and forms - Analyze and document current state workflows across identified processes - Collaborate with the vendor to validate and document future state processes, ensuring alignment with business and technical requirements - Identify and document additional requirements not addressed in the current scope for future implementation phases - Clearly articulate business needs and translate them into actionable requirements - Serve as the primary integration coordinator for the initiative - Coordinate configuration and data requests between stakeholders and vendors - Develop detailed integration specifications for SWIFT and SEMA4 systems, including inbound and outbound transactions - Collaborate on creating an overall integration strategy and delivery schedule that aligns with project objectives - Define and document data elements, success and failure criteria, and exception handling procedures - Oversee integration activities to ensure successful execution - Design and document high-level test scenarios covering various integration paths - Facilitate and manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) across processes and integrations - Ensure formal stakeholder approval prior to deployment - Validate that future state functionality meets operational and compliance requirements - Support project planning by assisting in the development of test, communication, training, and deployment plans - Present complex information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders - Translate technical concepts into easily understandable business language - Provide knowledge transfer to internal teams for long-term sustainability

Description


We are seeking a full-time Senior Business Analyst to aid in the implementation of an Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) for the Fiscal and Administrative Services Division. This pivotal role will drive the successful deployment and adoption of the EDMS solution across all divisions. Our hybrid work arrangement allows for a minimum of three days onsite per week in Saint Paul, MN. The duration of this position is a 12-month assignment, with the potential for extension, with interviews conducted via Microsoft Teams.
