Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 3 years of Full Stack development experience outside of college
- Proficient in Python programming
- Familiar with Git and team collaboration workflows
- Skilled in SQL, ideally with PostgreSQL
- Strong data modeling ability, including creating normalized and scalable schemas
- Experience in developing frontends utilizing React and modern JavaScript
- Knowledgeable in Python web frameworks such as Flask or Django
Nice-to-Haves:
- Awareness of HTMX
- Experience with Tailwind CSS
- Understanding of SQLAlchemy ORM and Alembic migrations
- Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD
- Experience in web application testing using Selenium, Playwright, or similar tools
- Familiarity with data visualization, especially for time series and 3D data
- Exposure to distributed computing technologies
Responsibilities
- Design and build internal tools, such as our engineering resource planning system
- Maintain and enhance existing software applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address real-world challenges
- Participate in software architecture discussions to shape future projects
- Provide input on technical decisions and explore innovative solutions
- Engage in flexible work hours while contributing to team goals
- Take ownership of various tasks within a small, agile team
