Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in computer science or a related field.
- Over 2 years of experience in designing and implementing both on-premises and cloud-based email and collaboration solutions.
- More than 8 years of experience overseeing Exchange and Microsoft 365 platform services in a hybrid setting.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Previous experience leading IT teams is preferred.
- Background in government IT is advantageous.
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience are acceptable; relevant experience in lieu of degree is required.
- Advanced technical certifications may replace six months of experience or education; multiple certifications may yield additional credit.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute new solutions for email collaboration while applying best practices and industry standards.
- Engage in various projects that influence the email collaboration sphere.
- Create automations for routine operations and specialized initiatives.
- Establish and execute integrations among applications/processes related to the email collaboration ecosystem.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to secure support for ideas, solutions, or projects.
- Develop and present pertinent KPIs and reports to senior leadership at regular intervals.
- Generate and review documentation pertaining to systems and processes.
- Address issues with Outlook configurations, calendar delegations, shared mailbox access post-migration, autodiscover challenges, email tracking, meeting errors, delivery delays, email recovery, online archiving, etc.
- Resolve Teams-related queries such as site/channel issues, app integrations, site restorations, permissions, and calendar problems.
- Manage email archiving solutions including Quest Archive Manager.
- Handle client escalation and priority matters.
- Guide and mentor junior staff in technical competencies.
