Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- At least 8 years of experience with the Microsoft .NET/Azure development stack
- Minimum of 5 years in application development
- 2 years of experience in a lead application development role
- Proficiency in C#/VB.NET/HTML/CSS/JavaScript/ASP.NET/Blazor
- Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server and related tools (SSMS, SSAS, SSIS, RS)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, especially Microsoft Azure
- Expertise in version control systems such as Git and CI/CD processes
- Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) models and best practices
- Understanding of design patterns in object-oriented programming
- Experience with BI reporting tools like PowerBI and Tableau
- Local government experience is preferred but not mandatory
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Capable of managing time and tasks efficiently
Responsibilities
- Oversee the design and development of scalable and sustainable .NET applications
- Produce clean, efficient, and thoroughly documented code
- Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to clarify and enhance requirements
- Offer technical direction and mentorship to the development team, fostering best practices
- Address and resolve intricate technical challenges and bugs promptly
- Enhance application performance for optimal speed and scalability
- Create and manage integrations with third-party systems and APIs
- Remain informed about industry trends and continuously refine development methodologies
