Requirements
Must:
- Extensive quality assurance experience, particularly in functional and regression testing
- Proficient hands-on experience in accessibility testing adhering to WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA standards
- Familiarity with screen readers, including NVDA and JAWS
- Knowledge of accessibility issues as they relate to coding (HTML, ARIA, etc.)
- Strong ability to articulate issues clearly and provide actionable guidance for resolution
- Self-motivated with the capability to work autonomously while maintaining progress
- Agile environment experience is a plus
- Familiarity with tools such as axe DevTools or equivalent is beneficial
- Experience collaborating with teams to enhance accessibility understanding
Responsibilities
- Conduct accessibility testing in accordance with WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA standards
- Utilize screen readers (NVDA/JAWS) and keyboard navigation to assess user experience
- Document clear and actionable defects, offering developers advice on resolutions
- Retest and validate fixes to ensure complete resolution of issues
- Assist with functional, regression, and exploratory testing as required
- Transition seamlessly between various types of testing while maintaining productivity
