Lead Business Analyst - Agile, Data Insights

- Champion the analysis of complex business processes and document inter-agency workflows - Identify opportunities for improvement and foster collaboration with technical teams to deliver solutions - Provide detailed functional specifications that encompass hierarchy, workflows, business rules, interface definitions, outstanding issues, data analysis, and mapping - Translate customer needs into clear User Stories and acceptance criteria, recommending suitable solutions - Assist in building and documenting specifications for development purposes - Maintain and update the Requirements Traceability Matrix - Conduct gap analyses between applications and customer requirements, collaborating with Architects and Developers to assess project impacts - Partner with Development, QA, and Production Support teams to communicate, verify, and test functionality changes - Engage with clients to demonstrate system changes, ensuring all pertinent business requirements are satisfied - Create training materials and facilitate training sessions both one-on-one and in a classroom setting - Manage competing priorities effectively through organization and communication - Attend meetings with clients and internal teams to coordinate tasks, monitor progress, and facilitate requirement discussions - Support system testing, regression testing, and smoke testing - Review Help Desk tickets and responses when necessary - Plan and conduct user training sessions, ensuring materials are prepared and reviewed - Track outreach activities and review emails to relevant user lists
