Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or 6 years without a degree
- Proficiency with PLC and automation controls
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Project management and organizational skills
- Fluent in English - both reading and writing
- High level of professionalism and attention to detail
- Strong independent decision-making and analytical abilities
- Prior experience with Quality Engineering tools (e.g., FMEA, PPAP, SPC) preferred
- Familiarity with FAA, EAR, and ITAR standards and regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and software tools related to automation and measurement
- U.S. citizenship is required
- Must pass a pre-hire background check and drug screening.
Responsibilities
- Execute and enhance initiatives within the supplier quality organization
- Conduct quality evaluation and maintain control systems
- Develop and explain testing and inspection methods to ensure product reliability
- Analyze nonconformities and recommend corrective actions
- Identify risks in product development and propose risk management solutions using PPAP elements
- Ensure compliance with transfer and process change management requirements
- Review process control documentation for conformity
- Develop and maintain quality evaluation protocols for materials in production
- Collaborate with product design to create testing plans ensuring product reliability
- Drive proactive quality initiatives and implement strategies
- Design and institute engineering changes to resolve customer quality concerns
- Oversee both Program and Product Quality Engineering tasks
- Innovate new inspection technologies to verify product conformity
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
