Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in technical support or desktop support roles within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment or similar setting.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Windows Server environments, Active Directory, DNS, TCP/IP protocols, and network administration.
- Familiarity with operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
- Experience in supporting mobile devices and their operating systems.
- Proficient with tools such as SCCM, GPO, BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, and Jira for incident tracking and management.
- Understanding of network security components, including VPNs and firewalls (e.g., Meraki).
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of articulating technical issues clearly to non-technical users.
- Strong analytical skills for diagnosing complex problems efficiently and accurately.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), or Cisco CCNA are preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work autonomously or collaboratively within a fast-paced team environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced technical support for hardware, software, and network issues across various client environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software issues related to operating systems, including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
- Manage computer systems encompassing desktop support, server management, and hardware troubleshooting.
- Support network administration tasks, including DNS, TCP/IP, LAN, VPNs, firewalls, and Meraki devices.
- Utilize tools like SCCM, GPO, Active Directory, BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, and Jira for incident tracking and system management.
- Assist with the maintenance and upgrades of IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their issues and provide clear solutions while upholding high customer service standards.
- Document support activities comprehensively in ticketing systems and follow up to guarantee resolution.
- Collaborate with team members on complex problems requiring analytical skills and technical expertise.
