Requirements
Must:
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
- Currently enrolled in a 2 or 4-year post-secondary educational program pursuing a degree related to the internship
- Portfolio or examples of creative/design projects
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat, as well as Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Highly organized and adaptable to changing priorities
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Capacity to work efficiently and quickly
- Ability to follow dress code policies and maintain personal hygiene
- Capability to interact professionally with guests, coworkers, and management
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a timely manner
- Aptitude for serving both internal and external customers
Responsibilities
- Support the protection of the Treasure Island and Prairie Island brand integrity by adhering to established guidelines and standards
- Assist in the creation and implementation of casino signage, direct mail materials, and various internal and external communications for both properties
- Handle design, layout, typography, illustration, and photography selection tasks
- Contribute to the Brand Communications team by performing daily tasks that align with business needs and internship goals
- Provide consistent and accurate support within the assigned department
- Participate in 3 to 5 special events such as parades, concerts, fairs, and festivals to meet property requirements
