Requirements
Must:
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
- Current enrollment in a 2 or 4-year post-secondary educational program related to the internship
- Portfolio or examples of design projects
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat) and Microsoft Office
- Detail-oriented and accuracy-focused
- Highly organized with the ability to adjust quickly to shifting priorities
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work swiftly and efficiently
- Ability to adhere to dress code and maintain good personal hygiene
- Capable of professional interaction with guests, coworkers, and management
- Competent in managing projects effectively
- Self-sufficient in completing multiple tasks in a professional manner
- Ability to serve both internal and external customers
Responsibilities
- Help maintain the integrity of the Treasure Island and Prairie Island brands by adhering to established guidelines and standards
- Support the design, development, and production of casino signage, direct mail pieces, and other communications for Treasure Island and Prairie Island
- Handle design, layout, typography, illustration, and photography selection
- Execute day-to-day tasks to assist the Brand Communications team in meeting business needs while fulfilling internship objectives
- Provide reliable and consistent assistance in the designated department
- Participate in 3 to 5 special events, including parades, concerts, fairs, and festivals, to support property needs
