Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a technical field or 3+ years of experience in a technical role
- At least 3 years of LAN/WAN design experience
- Minimum of 2 years in a professional services setting, OEM, VAR, or as an independent IT consultant
- Proficient across a diverse range of technologies including core networking (LAN, WAN, SD-WAN), wireless, and network security
- Strong knowledge of IT products and services
- Desired experience in SD-WAN design and implementation/migration with Silver Peak, Aruba, Cisco, or Meraki
- Plus experience in firewall design and implementation/migration
- Ability to rapidly learn new technologies, methodologies, and processes
- CCNA or equivalent certification required; CCNP preferred
- Willingness to travel 30-50% of the year
Responsibilities
- Design and implement solutions to fulfill our clients technological requirements
- Collaborate with clients and partners to create and deploy physical and logical networks
- Clearly communicate technical concepts (STP, VLAN, OSPF, BGP, WAN, SD-WAN) to clients and colleagues
- Configure various vendor hardware platforms according to design specifications (HPE/Aruba, Cisco, Meraki, Brocade, Extreme, Silver Peak)
- Fulfill project scope requirements including design, staging, implementation, testing, and documentation of integrated solutions
- Oversee internal and external resources to ascertain technical requirements
- Conduct effective L2/L3 testing
- Proactively learn new technologies and demonstrate them to the Traversa team with minimal supervision
- Provide coaching, mentorship, and expertise to the Traversa team
- Ensure project delivery and documentation meet high customer satisfaction standards
- Maintain and upload customer details to our company SharePoint
- Track and record project-based time in our CRM tool
- Experience in Python scripting is a bonus
