Requirements
Must:
- 7+ years of experience in backend development
- Proficient with Supabase (Postgres, Auth, RLS)
- Experience with Supabase Edge Functions using TypeScript
- Familiarity with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini)
- Strong understanding of secure authentication and data access
- Capability to design and implement Postgres schemas and SQL migrations
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Passion for building reliable backend systems
- Ability to work onsite 5 days a week
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end backend delivery for AI features, from design to deployment
- Build and deploy Supabase Edge Functions in TypeScript while ensuring reliability
- Integrate with multiple LLM APIs, implementing multi-provider routing
- Develop and maintain secure authentication and data access systems
- Design Postgres schemas and manage SQL migrations supporting product needs
- Enhance developer ergonomics with well-documented iOS-friendly endpoints
- Collaborate with iOS and product teams to communicate decisions and trade-offs
- Continually iterate and improve backend systems based on user feedback
