Requirements
Must:
- 7+ years of experience in backend development
- Proficiency with Supabase (Postgres, Auth, RLS)
- Experience in building and deploying Supabase Edge Functions using TypeScript
- Familiarity with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini)
- Strong understanding of secure authentication and data access protocols
- Ability to design Postgres schemas and SQL migrations
- Knowledge of performance optimization strategies such as caching and rate limiting
- Excellent communication skills and collaborative mindset
- Proven track record of shipping successful projects
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of backend delivery for AI features from design to deployment
- Develop and deploy Supabase Edge Functions ensuring reliability in production
- Integrate with various LLM providers while managing routing and fallback strategies
- Implement secure request verification and enforce Row Level Security in Postgres
- Design and maintain Postgres schemas and handle SQL migrations effectively
- Enhance developer experience by creating stable, well-documented APIs
- Facilitate collaboration with iOS and product teams to resolve blockers
- Communicate project trade-offs and decisions clearly to stakeholders
