Principal, Data Governance Lead

- Bachelors degree in Data Management, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Business Administration, Engineering, Statistics, or related fields preferred - Minimum of 10 years of experience in participating in and managing data governance policies, standards, and processes - Proven experience in managing data governance and data management operations, particularly in monitoring, anomaly detection, and corrective actions - Competency in leading discussions with varied stakeholders, including senior management, with differing, often conflicting, priorities - Demonstrated ability to analyze large datasets and identify patterns, organizing findings into clear, actionable formats - Proficient in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and SuperSet - Extensive experience managing projects from inception to execution - Strong enthusiasm for data governance and its organizational benefits - Strategic and conceptual thinker capable of facilitating organizational change - Analytical mindset with the ability to narrate a comprehensive story and make recommendations based on data trends - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, comfortable presenting to all organizational levels - Inquisitive with a strong desire to engage in hands-on learning - Proven customer management capabilities with a focus on service orientation - Exceptional relationship-building and stakeholder management skills - Ability to perform well under pressure and meet deadlines - Self-motivated with robust planning and organizational abilities, driven by challenges and results-oriented mindset
