Requirements
Must:
- Expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Strong proficiency with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools including Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation.
- Experience in container orchestration tools like Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm.
- Knowledge of service mesh technologies such as Istio and Linkerd.
- Proficiency in programming languages including Python, Go, and Java.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and GitLab CI.
- Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, and Puppet.
- Strong understanding of networking, security, and identity management within cloud environments.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, and Datadog.
- Hands-on experience with API gateways and service integration including Kong, Apigee, and AWS API Gateway.
- Knowledge of distributed systems and microservices architecture.
- Experience with various database technologies including PostgreSQL, MySQL, and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra).
- Understanding of DevSecOps practices and compliance requirements.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Over 10 years of experience in software engineering and platform development.
- Proven ability to design and implement core platform solutions in multi-cloud environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of core platform components for a multi-cloud hybrid infrastructure.
- Architect scalable, secure, and resilient platform solutions across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) utilizing tools like Terraform, Pulumi, and CloudFormation.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for platform services using tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- Ensure platform observability through the integration of monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align platform capabilities with business needs.
- Promote innovation and continuous improvement in platform engineering practices.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
