Requirements
Must:
- Expertise in cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform
- Strong proficiency in containerization and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes
- Experience with data lake and data warehouse technologies: Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Azure Synapse
- Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools and frameworks: Apache Airflow, dbt, Informatica
- Proficiency in programming languages: Python, Java, Scala, SQL
- Knowledge of distributed computing frameworks: Apache Spark, Hadoop
- Experience with real-time data streaming: Apache Kafka, AWS Kinesis, Azure Event Hubs
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools: Terraform, CloudFormation
- Strong understanding of security and compliance in cloud environments
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack
- Knowledge of data governance frameworks and tools: Collibra, Alation
- Understanding of API design and microservices architecture
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 15+ years of experience in data engineering and platform development
- Proven track record of building and scaling data platforms in multi-cloud environments
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable data and analytics platforms across multi-cloud and hybrid environments
- Lead the design and development of cloud-native data pipelines, storage solutions, and analytics services
- Ensure high availability, performance, and security of data platforms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align platform capabilities with business requirements
- Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies to enhance platform capabilities
- Establish best practices for data governance, metadata management, and data quality
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams
- Drive automation and DevOps practices for continuous integration and deployment of data services
