Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in business, IT, or management
- Over 6 years of experience in product development within the P&C insurance sector, specifically in telematics and usage-based insurance
- Familiarity with SERFF and state filing processes, with a robust understanding of insurance regulations like FCRA and GLBA
- Strong analytical and communication skills to effectively convey complex concepts to varied audiences, including clients
- Proven abilities in cross-functional teamwork and applying design-thinking principles with a focus on customer-centric solutions
- Experience in creating product roadmaps and growth strategies, utilizing market insights and competitive analysis
- Comfort in collaborating with data science, IT, and legal teams, with knowledge of telematics technologies and trends
- Experience in driving strategies in partnership with telematics solution providers while defining and articulating team priorities
Responsibilities
- Define and manage the Product Strategy & Roadmap by shaping and maintaining the TransUnion Telematics Solutions priorities based on customer needs and business impact
- Oversee product health by managing the product backlog and coordinating with technology and operations teams to balance MVP and post-MVP plans
- Collaborate with market development teams to create engaging go-to-market materials for new products and enhancements
- Drive execution of product launches, including validations, customer testing, and implementation support, ensuring meticulous product documentation
- Work closely with legal and compliance teams to approve product modifications and uphold regulatory standards
- Optimize profitability through collaboration with sales teams and customers to maximize product utilization and uncover revenue opportunities
- Support regulatory engagement with Department of Insurance (DOI) and other stakeholders regarding rate filings and regulatory modifications
- Stay informed of emerging trends and telematics innovations, integrating this knowledge into product design and development
