Requirements
Must:
- Over 7 years of experience in data science and analytics
- At least 3 years in leadership or team management roles with increasing responsibilities
- Advanced degree (Masters or PhD) in a quantitative field such as statistics, applied mathematics, or computer science is strongly preferred
- Proficient in advanced programming languages, especially Python and R; experience with SQL, Spark, C/C++, and Java
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS and Google Cloud
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
- Strong skills in statistical inference, predictive modeling, and real-time modeling in commercial settings
- Demonstrated critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills
- Proven interest and experience in relevant industries such as financial services and digital marketing
- Excellent project management abilities to handle multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Capable of making significant project decisions independently, providing a robust framework for justification and documentation
Responsibilities
- Analyze alternative data assets and AI methods for impact on products; draft business cases as necessary
- Develop scores, attributes, and analytic solutions aligned with the Identity Fraud roadmap across various business domains
- Design and enhance frameworks to streamline product development and ensure efficient delivery
- Maintain and improve best practices in model development and create training programs
- Lead cross-functional teams to promote data science excellence
- Ensure accurate documentation of departmental activities for optimal resource management
- Attract and mentor top data science talent, fostering continuous professional development
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of credit bureau data and identity products
