Requirements
Must:
- Solid understanding of foundational principles and algorithms from a Computer Science degree or equivalent experience, particularly in object-oriented programming
- Experience in backend application development and design on Linux-based systems
- Proficiency in programming with Python and Bash
- Capacity to perform both automated and manual testing of code modifications to identify and resolve technical challenges
- Familiarity with the git version control system
- Preferred skills: Networking experience (TCP/IP, HTTP, SSH)
- Familiarity with SQL
- Understanding of security, encryption, and fault tolerance
- Experience with cloud technologies
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Comfort with AI tools to boost coding productivity
Responsibilities
- Utilize your knowledge of Linux and Python to support our automated batch processing service
- Engage in both new development and the maintenance of existing systems
- Monitor system uptime and participate in Agile software workflows
- Develop and execute test cases as part of your daily responsibilities
