Senior Cyber Security Engineer - Cloud Focus

- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or Engineering - Minimum of 10 years in a cybersecurity engineering or operations role, with at least 5 years focusing on Threat Intelligence and Vulnerability Management - Extensive experience in the threat intelligence lifecycle, including collection, analysis, enrichment, correlation, and dissemination of actionable insights - Solid understanding of the cyber threat landscape and attacker methodologies (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK) - Practical experience managing Threat Intelligence Platforms (TIP), threat feeds, and OSINT sources, along with integration into SIEM and SOAR technologies - Background in vulnerability management including scanning tools, risk-based prioritization, and remediation coordination - Familiarity with common vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top 10, CVEs, zero-day exploits) and collaboration with infrastructure and application teams for remediation - Skills in automating security workflows using programming languages such as Python or PowerShell, including API integrations - Ability to develop metrics and executive-level reports that communicate risk posture and remediation status - In-depth knowledge of security industry standards and best practices (e.g., NIST CSF, MITRE ATT&CK) and capacity to align processes with these frameworks - Proficient in managing multiple initiatives and prioritizing effectively while working autonomously in a dynamic environment - Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP or CISM are advantageous.
