Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Finance, Business, Statistics, Computer/Data Science, or a related analytical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 2+ years of experience in Fixed Income market making/sales or buyside trading, or 5+ years in relevant quantitative or analytical roles
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively
- Deep interest in fixed income markets, electronic trading, and the use of data science in addressing commercial and strategic issues
- Proficiency in Python and SQL; advanced Excel skills required
- Experience in developing analytical models, reports, dashboards, or decision-support tools using extensive or complex datasets
- Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and experience utilizing AI/agentic tools for enhanced analysis or workflow
- Strong analytical mindset with curiosity, able to frame appropriate questions for investigation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting insights to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively across various functions and levels of seniority
- Capacity to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment while maintaining attention to detail and sound judgment
Responsibilities
- Examine trading, market, and client behavior data to reveal actionable insights, recognize trends, and aid strategic decision-making
- Construct and validate predictive models for aspects like pricing, transaction fees, and market behavior using statistical and machine learning methodologies
- Utilize AI and coding agents to optimize workflows, boost productivity, and enhance analysis quality and speed
- Create and develop analytical tools, applications, and dashboards that provide actionable insights to both internal teams and clients, utilizing technologies such as Python, SQL, Tableau, and Agentic AI development tools
- Collaborate closely with product, sales, and senior management to deliver insightful analysis, reporting, and recommendations that foster business growth
- Integrate efforts across teams to gather, validate, and synthesize data from various sources into impactful outputs
- Aid in refining reporting structures and analytical processes to align with governance, compliance, marketing, and business objectives
- Identify opportunities to create unique data products and analytical capabilities that generate revenue and enhance client satisfaction
