Requirements
Must:
- Experience supporting a large system with high availability, preferably financial or trading systems
- Familiarity with existing internal systems
- Ability to collaborate closely in a high-pressure, mission-critical environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexibility regarding work schedule, including potential weekend duties
- Minimum of 3 years of object-oriented development experience (ideally in C++)
- Experience with relational databases
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering preferred
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience, ideally in the Financial Services sector
- Proven ability to solve problems and manage multiple tasks efficiently
Responsibilities
- Collaborate within a global support team
- Develop system monitoring, instrumentation, and reporting tools
- Engage with internal teams to identify and troubleshoot issues
- Ensure high availability for production, demonstration, and testing systems
- Address and resolve system problems promptly and professionally
- Proactively learn business needs and implement effective solutions
