Requirements
Must:
- Completed Bachelors Degree or equivalent relevant experience
- At least 1 year of experience in application or production support, or a production engineering position
- Proficient understanding of relational databases, preferably Oracle 19
- Familiarity with object-oriented programming, primarily in Java and Perl
- Technical knowledge of Unix and Windows operating systems
- Proven skills in scripting, particularly in Python and Bash, alongside Unix command tools
- Basic understanding of Apache Tomcat, Tomee, and HTTP servers
- Strong organizational and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Team-oriented with a keen attention to detail
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Willingness to work evenings or weekends for production code deployments and other support duties
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day application support for production incidents
- Collaborate closely with business and technology teams to analyze and resolve platform issues
- Maintain a consistently high standard of service for all stakeholders, both internal and external
- Develop new automation tools while maintaining existing ones
