Requirements
Must:
- Proficient in modern C++ (C++11, C++14, C++17, C++20), including templates, RAII, move semantics, data structures, and design patterns
- At least 5 years of experience as a C++ developer, with 7 to 10 years preferred (mid-level to senior)
- Strong experience with systems programming on Linux (gcc or clang, CMake, Conan, or equivalent)
- In-depth knowledge of multithreading, synchronization, atomics, and concurrency debugging
- Practical experience in developing cloud-based microservices with high availability and robust operational practices
- Skilled in using profiling and debugging tools such as perf, gdb, valgrind, and sanitizers
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities and effective communication skills across technical and business teams
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
Responsibilities
- Develop C++ applications for cloud-based microservices
- Engage in application design and implementation; contribute to system architecture and roadmap planning
- Improve platform components that manage the negotiation of tokenized assets, trade capture, and settlement orchestration
- Create backend services that integrate with DAML ledgers, internal systems, and external APIs; design message formats and serialization (protobuf, flatbuffers, or similar)
- Write and execute unit and integration tests; take part in code and design reviews
- Analyze and troubleshoot CPU, memory, and I/O issues to enhance service reliability and ensure expected performance under load
- Lead CI/CD initiatives, automated performance checks, and uphold strong operational standards
- Design and construct systems built for 24/7 trading with fault-tolerant architecture, graceful degradation, and rapid recovery strategies
- Identify urgent production and client-facing challenges and prioritize solutions
- Conduct code reviews and lead contributions to system architecture and roadmap with ownership of implemented solutions
