Requirements
Must:
- Proven work experience as a system security engineer or information security engineer
- Experience securing multiple public cloud environments
- Strong understanding and practical knowledge of public cloud infrastructure and services in AWS (including IAM, VPC, KMS, S3, RDS, etc.)
- Familiarity with CyberArk identity and access management solutions
- Ability to assess existing cloud implementations for security issues and prioritize fixes
- Experience developing and implementing public cloud security tools and techniques
- Direct experience with security solutions such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security
- Knowledge of designing secure network and application architectures
- Familiarity with web technologies and related protocols
- Experience in security incident response
- Ability to develop security policies, standards, and procedures
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated initiative in maintaining professional knowledge in security and risk management
- Bachelors degree in Information Security, Information Systems, or related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience OR 7 years of relevant work experience
- Willingness to occasionally travel for meetings and training
Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain a comprehensive security technology strategy addressing risks in cloud and datacenter environments
- Recommend, implement, configure, and maintain security solutions for on-prem and cloud environments
- Perform vulnerability assessments and security controls checks and provide reporting
- Identify and define security requirements through collaboration with Project and Development teams
- Oversee current security threats and solutions to ensure the security of public cloud and on-prem environments
- Manage network control systems, equipment, network diagrams, and firewall configurations
- Participate in security incident response with detailed technical analysis
- Manage standard operating procedures and protocols related to security
- Oversee security initiatives as needed
