IT Security Analyst (cybersecurity focus)

- Conduct secure code review assessments for object-oriented programming languages - Analyze source code for security vulnerabilities using various tools and techniques - Consult with developers to promote secure software practices and address existing vulnerabilities - Research and propose software tools that enhance secure coding practices - Contribute to the creation and delivery of training materials on secure coding and remediation - Recommend best practices for integrating application security testing into the SDLC - Support Cyber Security management in analyzing incidents and recommending mitigations - Utilize best practices for monitoring potential cyber security events - Triage and remediate security alerts promptly, escalating when necessary - Ensure adherence to corporate security policies and procedures - Participate in incident response, audit log reviews, and provide information security consultations - Engage in professional communication with internal and external contacts - Participate in penetration testing activities - Conduct vulnerability scans using departmental tools and present findings as needed
