Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in computer science or a related field
- Over 15 years of hands-on experience in software development
- Demonstrated expertise in Java, Spring Boot, NodeJS, REST API, real-time streaming architectures, and microservices architecture patterns
- Proven experience in developing scalable applications and platforms
- Experience in leading, mentoring, and inspiring a team of software engineers
- Deep understanding of software engineering frameworks and designing cloud-native solutions
- Practical knowledge of cloud platforms, advanced software design patterns, operations, and GenAI powered SDLC
- Track record of delivering scalable cloud-native solutions addressing concerns like logging and application security
- Strong communication skills, capable of engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Passion for technology trends and a willingness to experiment and engage with the engineering community
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with software engineers, machine learning experts, product managers, and engineering leaders
- Champion a culture of engineering excellence while promoting inclusivity in idea-sharing
- Lead through technical contributions and create long-term technology roadmaps
- Act as a trusted advisor for key technologies and capability domains
- Develop clear and concise communications, code samples, and blog posts to share knowledge
- Guide the development and implementation of solutions that support business initiatives
- Articulate and promote a compelling technical vision for your domain
- Break down complex problems into practical, operational solutions
- Ensure the quality of technical design and implementation
- Serve as an expert on non-functional system characteristics like performance and scalability
- Continue learning and contribute advanced technical knowledge to the community
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously to maximize impact
- Mentor and coach engineers to enhance their technical skills
- Explore and leverage new cloud technologies for potential applications
- Collaborate with tech leaders to drive technology strategy
- Promote cloud solutions and best practices across the organization
