Requirements
Must:
- At least 3-5 years of experience in Data Security Monitoring and Response
- Proficiency in responding to alerts from SIEM detection and response technologies (e.g., CrowdStrike Data Protection/NextGen SIEM, Symantec, Sumologic)
- Experience in implementing controls and configuring policies across various DLP functions (e.g., Data in Motion, Data at Rest, Data in Use, Internet Monitoring)
- Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Purview/Defender, CrowdStrike, Trellix, Proofpoint, or other DSPM/CASB applications
- Experience utilizing AI as a supplementary tool in work processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to assess complex issues and propose effective solutions (through rules implementation, automation, or orchestration)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Background in a regulated environment, with experience in interacting with Audit, Compliance, and Governance teams
Responsibilities
- Analyze data loss prevention alerts and incidents, responding promptly to data protection alerts
- Collaborate with the security team and global stakeholders to address new or emerging cyber threats through policy implementation focused on mitigation
- Ensure adherence to data protection laws and regulations
- Assist DLP engineers in testing, evaluating, and scoring new technologies
- Identify and enhance processes through automation and defined metrics for continual program maturation
- Support Incident Response activities as required
- Stay informed about cyber threats, countermeasure technologies, and industry trends, following up on Cyber threat Intelligence reports to align controls with the current threat landscape
- Develop, maintain, and standardize documentation for data protection responses in line with internal and industry best practices
