Requirements
Must:
- 3-5 years of experience in cloud security, cybersecurity, or cloud operations
- Proficiency with at least one major cloud provider (AWS preferred)
- Basic knowledge of cloud security principles such as IAM, encryption, and network security
- Familiarity with CSPM, SIEM, and other cloud-native security tools (e.g., Orca, CrowdStrike Falcon, AWS Guard Duty)
- Experience managing and optimizing Orca Security CSPM across AWS and Azure environments
- Ability to interpret security findings and logs
- Collaborate with Cloud Engineering to develop secure infrastructure modules (Terraform)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a desire to learn and grow
- Comfortable in a collaborative, cross-functional setting
- Basic scripting skills (Python, Bash, etc.) are a plus
- Knowledge of security frameworks like CIS Benchmarks or NIST is a plus
Responsibilities
- Monitor cloud environments (primarily AWS) using CSPM, SIEM, and various security tools
- Review and prioritize security findings, collaborating with engineering and DevOps teams to resolve issues
- Assist in creating and refining custom security policies and rules
- Maintain and enhance cloud security hygiene by addressing misconfigurations and enforcing baseline security practices
- Analyze and document security findings, contributing to remediation and process improvements
- Develop and manage compliance dashboards, automated reports, and executive-level security summaries
- Contribute to internal knowledge repositories and playbooks
- Keep abreast of cloud security trends, tools, and best practices
- Shadow and aid senior engineers in threat modeling, risk assessments, and implementing controls
