Requirements
Must:
- A curious mindset and eagerness to learn
- Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in one or more domains:
- Red Team operations (Kali, Cobalt Strike, Outflank, Brute Ratel, Sliver, Nighthawk)
- Software development
- OffSec infrastructure management
- Penetration testing (network/web/mobile: Nessus, Qualys, Burp Suite)
- Reverse engineering
- Social Engineering
- Cloud, AI
- Proven ability to engage with executives and influence the prioritization of security initiatives
- Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution, or equivalent experience
- Relevant security certification is a plus (CRTO, OSCP, OSWE, CISSP)
- Familiarity with security frameworks for attack (MITRE ATT&CK, Cyber Kill Chain), threat modeling (STRIDE, CVSS), and guidelines (NIST, PCI)
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as CFPB, GLBA, and SOX, along with privacy laws (GDPR & CCPA) and other compliance necessities
- Advanced degree in an IT-related field is a plus
Responsibilities
- Design and implement red team operations to assess the strength of our cyber controls using threat actor techniques
- Develop comprehensive reports detailing the outcomes of operations and/or penetration tests, including evidence and mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, including technology owners and other security teams, to share findings, provide insights, and enhance detection and response readiness
- Assess the risk of identified issues for prioritizing remediation efforts
- Utilize your technical expertise to support and guide security events as required
- Remain informed on global cyber threats and attacks for applicability in the Toyota environment
- Act as a mentor for continuous learning, teamwork, and knowledge sharing among colleagues
- Foster a trustworthy and safe environment where issues can be discussed openly, emphasizing problem-solving without fear of blame or judgement
