Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree (or higher) in a quantitative field such as Business Analytics, Information Science, Business/Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Marketing, Consumer Insights, or a related STEM degree.
- Minimum of one year of relevant work experience.
- Proven experience coding in SQL, Python, and/or R (skills will be assessed during interviews).
- Strong creative and quantitative problem-solving capabilities in data acquisition, manipulation, cleaning, analysis, and presentation.
- Basic understanding of statistics.
- Effective presentation skills, including formulating strategic recommendations for management and simplifying technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- A genuine curiosity to delve into data and discover insights.
- Experience in collaborating with teams.
Responsibilities
- Identify business needs and frame the key questions to properly conduct your analysis.
- Utilize SQL/Python/R programming skills to gather and organize necessary data.
- Extract insights from the data using creative problem-solving techniques and quantitative analytical skills, including statistical methods.
- Evaluate the quantitative and qualitative effects of potential actions based on insights, considering our customers, employees, and organization.
- Propose actionable recommendations through compelling data storytelling in presentations (PowerPoint), data visualizations (Tableau), and clear verbal and written communications.
- Work with various stakeholders to implement and assess recommended actions.
- Foster relationships with key stakeholders across departments such as Sales, Marketing, Servicing, Insurance, Risk, Technology, Legal/Compliance, Finance, and Treasury.
- Continuously enhance your analytical, technical, communication, and interpersonal skills through training and practical experience for career advancement.
- Establish expertise in your business area by gaining a thorough understanding of its strategies, processes, policies, and data.
- Mentor other analysts on best practices in analysis and data storytelling.
