Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Preferred Network Industry Certifications (e.g., ACE L3, ACE L5, CCIE for DC/SP)
- Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience with networking technologies, focusing on Data Center network design and deployments
- In-depth knowledge of leaf-spine architectures is highly desirable
- Strong expertise in BGP/MP-BGP, VxLAN, EVPN, L2VNI Stretching, and L3VNI Routing (both symmetrical and asymmetrical)
- Proficiency in automation tools such as Ansible and programming in Python
- Familiarity with Arista AVD & CVP
- Solid background in Data Center Switching and Routing
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Superior customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Capable of producing thorough documentation and managing ticket tracking for opportunities and meeting follow-ups
Responsibilities
- Support extensive Data Center networking deployments for significant clientele
- Review and provide recommendations on customer network designs, particularly for EVPN and VxLAN in leaf-spine architecture
- Facilitate migration or interconnection from Cisco, Juniper, and other vendors to Arista infrastructure
- Assist in configuration build-outs, focusing on network provisioning automation utilizing Python and tools like Chef or Ansible
- Participate in implementation and change control processes
- Assist with proof of concepts (POC) and detailed testing to ensure design scenarios are validated
- Conduct bug scrubs and offer code recommendations
- Serve as a liaison with TAC, internal development teams, and customers
- Advise customers on architectural inquiries as necessary
- Translate complex business demands into effective Leaf-Spine Network solutions
- Develop network solutions based on extensive experience with advanced routing protocols, particularly BGP
- Build and maintain robust relationships with crucial stakeholders
- Comprehend the clients business goals and technical requirements
- Potential for occasional travel may be required
