Requirements
Must:
- 2+ years of experience in desktop support, deskside support, or IT support
- Strong understanding of Windows operating systems
- Knowledge of desktop and laptop hardware
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 / Office 365
- Basic networking skills (LAN, VPN, firewalls)
- Practical experience troubleshooting and replacing hardware components
- Experience with ITSM / ticketing tools (Autotask, ServiceNow, Remedy, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills, especially with non-technical users
- Ability to operate independently in an onsite support capacity
- Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation
Responsibilities
- Provide onsite deskside IT support to end users
- Troubleshoot and resolve various hardware, software, and desktop issues
- Support Windows desktops and laptops
- Install, configure, and maintain PCs, monitors, printers, and peripherals
- Carry out desktop support tasks including imaging, setup, and repair
- Assist with Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel)
- Manage basic user account administration (password resets, access changes)
- Diagnose network connectivity issues (LAN, VPN, Wi-Fi)
- Utilize IT ticketing systems (Autotask, Service Now, or similar)
- Employ RMM/Security Tools knowledge (NinjaRMM, Huntress, IT Glue, or similar)
- Document issues, resolutions, and procedures clearly
- Escalate complex problems as necessary and ensure follow-through to resolution
- Provide professional, user-focused IT support onsite
