Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Over 8 years of experience in technical project or program management, with a minimum of 4 years in client-facing software delivery roles
- Proven track record of successfully managing extensive, cross-functional software delivery projects
- Strong financial oversight skills, including forecasting and budget management
- In-depth understanding of backlog management, scheduling, risk mitigation, and resolving dependencies
- Familiarity with governance frameworks like ARB and SDLC
- Proficient in project management tools such as Jira, MS Project, Smartsheet, among others
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, suitable for both technical and executive audiences
- Experience in mentoring and developing junior project managers
- Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and urgency in achieving project targets
- Technical expertise in system architecture, integrations, and data dependencies, allowing for effective representation in client and executive discussions
Responsibilities
- Direct the delivery of large, multi-team programs, ensuring that scope, timeline, budget, and quality standards are consistently met
- Communicate transparently and promptly about progress, risks, and mitigation strategies to executives and clients
- Act as the authoritative figure in discussions regarding system architecture, data exchange, integrations, and product impacts
- Monitor and manage financial performance, ensuring alignment between projected and actual costs, resources, and profitability targets
- Provide leadership and mentorship to other Technical Project Managers, fostering effective delivery practices and leadership skills within the team
- Initiate process improvements for estimating, scheduling, and delivery to enhance predictability, quality, and risk management efforts
