Requirements
Must:
- 5–10 years of experience in machine learning, computer vision, or medical imaging
- Strong grasp of data and ML pipeline architecture, from preprocessing through model training and deployment
- Extensive knowledge of 2D/3D image data, particularly radiographic and CT imaging
- Practical experience in developing and validating models for segmentation, registration, and pose estimation
- Proficiency in Python and frameworks such as PyTorch, OpenCV, SimpleITK, VTK, PyVista, NumPy, and scikit-learn
- Familiarity with visualization, labeling, and planning tools like 3D Slicer
- Background in biomedical engineering, robotics, orthopaedics, or medical physics is preferred
- Experience in full-stack development for internal tools or production-grade software is a plus
- Knowledge of IEC 62304 or other medical device software regulations is advantageous
- Experience with fluoroscopy simulation or radiographic forward modeling is beneficial
Responsibilities
- Design and expand ML pipelines for radiographic image analysis, segmentation, landmark detection, and 3D pose estimation
- Create tools for visualizing and analyzing 3D data, including meshes, voxel volumes, and complete scene models of anatomical structures
- Establish systems for evaluating, validating, and selecting models based on clinical performance metrics
- Assist in the full-stack integration of ML components into our ConfirMap surgical AI software platform
- Participate in deploying robust, production-grade models and algorithms within a regulated environment
