Requirements
Must:
- Active TOP SECRET Security Clearance
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Significant experience in full stack software development with a proven track record of designing and creating high-performance, scalable APIs and web applications.
- Deep and demonstrable expertise in modern web development technologies, including:
- Back-end: Python (or Node.js, Java, or similar) and frameworks like Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
- Front-end: JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Database technologies: SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB).
- Strong, hands-on familiarity with cloud providers such as GCP, Azure, and AWS, utilizing their managed services.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code, particularly using Terraform.
- A thorough understanding of distributed systems, modular monolithic architecture, API design principles, and integration of front-end/back-end.
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain a highly available, low-latency, and scalable API and full stack applications.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code for both front-end and back-end components.
- Maximize the potential of managed cloud services, including serverless data warehouses for analytics, managed RDMS, serverless execution, asynchronous messaging, and orchestration for complex processes.
- Use Terraform to define and manage infrastructure as code (IaC), ensuring a reproducible and automated environment.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product owners, data scientists, and fellow engineers, to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Take full ownership of the software development lifecycle, from conception and design through deployment and ongoing maintenance.
- Diagnose and resolve intricate technical challenges, ensuring the reliability and performance of our systems.
