Requirements

Must:
- U.S. Citizenship - Bachelors or Masters Degree in a related field - Minimum of 5 years in a relevant technical/professional discipline, with 3 years in the DoD - Ability to maintain a T3/Secret Clearance - Experience in Access Control, Configuration Management, System & Communications Protection, Contingency Planning, Incident Handling, System & Information Integrity, Security & Privacy Training & Awareness - Familiarity with software development in relation to Cybersecurity - Background in cybersecurity duties as per DoDI 8500.01, AFI 17-130, and AFI 17-1301 - Proficiency in validating and analyzing findings using automated testing tools like Fortify, Checkmarx, SonarQube, and AppScan - Experience with DoD tracking systems for documenting cybersecurity issues - Knowledge of information security continuous monitoring (ISCM) processes - Certification associated with the DCWF ISSO work role (722) at an intermediate level such as ISC)2 CGRC/CAP, CompTIA CASP+, (ISC)2 CCSP, CompTIA Cloud+, (ISC)2 SSCP, CompTIA Security+ CE, or (GIAC) GSEC

Responsibilities

- Ensure operational security posture is upheld for assigned IT - Implement and enforce AF cybersecurity policies and procedures - Complete and maintain required cybersecurity certifications - Verify user security clearances and training before granting IT access - Maintain access control documentation according to AF Records Information Management System - Ensure compliance with security configuration guidelines for software, hardware, and firmware - Follow configuration management procedures prior to implementation - Coordinate changes with system-level ISSM, SCA, and Wing Cybersecurity office - Initiate protective measures when security incidents or vulnerabilities are found - Report incidents to the system-level ISSM and Wing cybersecurity office - Initiate exemptions or waivers to cybersecurity requirements
