Requirements
Must:
- Current Security+ Certification
- Fully adjudicated DoD Secret or Top-Secret Security Clearance
- At least 10 years of experience with a BS degree or 14 years of experience with a HS diploma
- Proficient in Windows server operating systems and related concepts
- Knowledge of Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) and cyber functions (DoDIN operations)
- Experience with cybersecurity risk assessments and eMASS
- Skilled in administering computer networks, hardware, databases, applications, and operating systems
- Familiar with the Risk Management Framework (RMF)
- Strong customer service abilities
- Desirable skills include system and application installation, STIG, troubleshooting, and tuning
- Understanding of standards compliance and information assurance including ITAR, CCA, FedRAMP, DIACAP, RMF, ITIL, and CMMI
- Insights into the DoD environment and familiarity with the DoD Acquisition System
- Capability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical leaders across complex organizations
Responsibilities
- Support the AF Strategic Program Information Services team and Sentinel Information Services team
- Collaborate with fellow SCARs, Security Controls Assessors (SCAs), Information System Security Managers (ISSM), Program Managers (PM), and Authorizing Officials (AO) to secure and maintain Authority to Operate (ATO) approvals
- Conduct reviews and assessments to provide advice and recommendations to SCAs/AOs during the RMF process for designated programs
- Contribute to mission-critical projects ensuring adherence to cybersecurity protocols
- Engage in proactive communication to facilitate collaboration and understanding across various organizational boundaries
