Responsibilities
- I will need you to identify valuable data sources and automate the process of data mining and collection.
- You will undertake preprocessing of both structured and unstructured data.
- Analyzing vast amounts of information to discover and articulate trends and patterns will be part of your role.
- Building predictive models and machine-learning algorithms will also be your responsibility.
- You will combine models through ensemble modeling and develop conclusive insights using statistical methods.
- It's essential that you are able to make and defend arguments based on data and derived insights.
Description
We are a rapidly expanding startup located in Austin, Texas, focused on helping businesses harness AI for automated customer service responses. Our system employs SQL queries combined with CRM/ERP API integrations to provide highly accurate replies. Utilizing a framework of advanced open-source large language models (LLMs), we facilitate multiple functions throughout the customer service process at production scale. Our flagship technology is engineered to enhance the productivity of customer service teams by a factor of ten. I’m looking for a motivated and innovative Data Scientist with a “hacker” mentality to join our dynamic team and contribute to the advancement and deployment of state-of-the-art, AI-driven decision support systems. In this role, you will be engaged in diverse tasks, from data harvesting and schema design to developing machine learning products and decision support tools. You should possess a determination to tackle technical challenges and thrive in an ever-changing technological environment. You will play a significant role in analyzing extensive datasets to identify patterns and contribute solutions that enhance our clients' capabilities, all while collaborating with cross-functional teams to address intricate, large-scale challenges and achieve collective objectives. This position can be either full-time or contractual, and it is in-office from Monday to Friday in Austin, Texas, and its surrounding metro areas. The salary ranges from $135,000 to $170,000 annually. Flexibility in the schedule is possible when necessary.
