Requirements
Must:
- Associates Degree in Information Technology or a related field is highly preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Information Technology, especially in a manufacturing or corporate setting
- Proven experience in help desk support, including diagnosing root causes and resolving end-user issues while delivering exceptional customer service
- Solid knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Office Suite, Server OS, Hyper V, and Windows OS
- Experience with ERP software like JD Edwards Enterprise One is strongly preferred
- Skilled in troubleshooting LAN, WAN, WiFi, and VPN networks
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Capacity to lift over 20 pounds regularly
- Flexibility to work outside of standard hours for urgent matters and scheduled maintenance as needed
Responsibilities
- Deliver Tier II support to corporate office and field staff regarding technology issues, including computers, servers, printers, scanners, and network components
- Collaborate with colleagues and leadership to address issues promptly, diagnose, and resolve end-user problems
- Respond immediately to helpdesk tickets within the specified areas of expertise
- Ensure adherence to IT policies and procedures by accurately documenting Helpdesk requests in a timely manner
- Contribute ideas and insights for continuous enhancement within the IT department and provide cross-functional support to other IT team areas as necessary
