Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or Computer Science
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in regulated industries such as Medical Devices or Pharmaceuticals
- Proficient in MES, CSV, and automation technologies
- Knowledgeable in regulatory standards including FDA, GxP, and 21 CFR Part 11
- Experience in leading large teams, preferably with 50 or more members
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies
- Proven track record in delivering enterprise-scale programs
- Open to traveling to Puerto Rico as needed
Responsibilities
- Oversee large cross-functional engineering initiatives
- Assist in the enhancement of manufacturing processes, digital transformation, and regulated systems
- Collaborate with teams across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, and IT
- Manage enterprise engineering programs, including roadmap, milestones, and resource allocation
- Ensure project delivery aligns with scope, timelines, and budget constraints
- Lead initiatives in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and automation
- Supervise Computer Software Validation (CSV) and IQ/OQ/PQ processes
- Guarantee compliance with FDA, ISO 13485, GxP, and 21 CFR Part 11
- Support the transition to digital manufacturing
- Maintain RAID logs for risk and compliance management
- Drive strategies for risk mitigation and ensure preparedness for audits
- Lead global engineering teams and manage stakeholder relationships
- Act as a point of escalation for risks and project constraints
- Provide executive-level status updates and maintain comprehensive program documentation
- Monitor budget and financial performance of projects
